Soccer pass within typography
Motion design commissioned by Summa Branding for the new typography FC Barcelona Play, which was created by Summa and designed and developed by Extra Typedesign.
Futbol Club Barcelona uses this typography on its kit for all teams. The shape of this typography is inspired by their shield and the internal lines symbolize FC Barcelona’s game style which relies on team playing, ball possession and passing.
The animation replicates the game style using transitions and passes between different players, reusing letters and shapes from one animation to the next, culminating in a goal.
